I sit upon my front porch and see summers glory begin to fade, another season of planting, flowering, harvesting fruits of labor and watching the maturity of nature. The burnished umber of an autumn paint brush splashes the horizon of a new season and the sounds of golden splender echo through the distance as geese, robins and other freedoms flyers sing a song in flight of warm green southern meadows and fields of flowers. The humming birds have heard the blooms of warm southern mornings call to their hearts desire for nector and off they have hurried.
I see the little ones of the forest back and forth and here and there with puckered tiny jaws full of treasures for the long days ahead beneath the winters snow. Deep some will burrow while others create masterful nests with natures providings and the tree tops dance with the leaf woven bundles of safety they have prepared in order to weather the winter storms.
Now is a time for being close to the ones we love and feel the warmth and safty of their presence as the seasons change. Winter's cold will arrive and our preperation with those closest will carry us through and visions of green meadows with fields of wild flowers will sooth our souls together. It is true that beneath the winter snow lies the seed that with the suns love becomes a rose. We weather the storms and are rewarded with warm soft breezes of new beginings.
So whether, beneath the covers and blankets of wool with granny's hand quilted seams or maybe our sock feet too hot from the crackling fire as we might be so caught up watching the flame tips lash out in colors of electric blue and green tipped with brilliant yellow-orange to red or maybe the warm smell of hot chocolate steam rises to fog your glasses while curled up with a good book, lover or furry friend, I wish you a warm safe season full of security, joy and happiness.
May your days ahead be filled with warm fuzzy feelings of being loved and appreciated by those about you who know you are special in your own unique way, different from anyone else in the whole world. May your talents grow and flurish into master pieces of your self expression whether it be, taste beyond belief, songs only angels have performed, visions never before seen or understanding beyond comprehension. This season is not a dress rehursal for a play one day but is the real thing and can only be lived once so live it one day at a time experiencing every single moment and be the magic and miracle that you are. Happy Fall Season, Ron
A bio and message to my supporters
My wife calls me the "MAD ARTIST". I try to be a kind soul and lend an understanding ear to one whom might need a listener. Quiet unless provoked, creating, designing, wood working, faux finishing, playing piano and guitar, standing in a crystal clear mountain stream and drinking coffee on our back deck on mornings as our yard of gardens comes to life. Creating has been my escape from reality for about 35 years now. I hope I have brought happiness and joy to those my art has appeared before. To not to be motivated by money has its ups and downs on an economic level. One as myself does what they must to survive in an economic society; but only to be able to create and know that feeling of, "I have placed something in this world that otherwise would have never existed" motivates me. A small home of gardens and art. Little animals here and there with the ever present furry friends, some call dogs but ours are actually members of my family. It dosn't take much to make me happy. My wife, Sherry and I have enjoyed our little world and since we have met all of you out there, we get to play with our paints, listen to and make music, plant our flowers and gardens, listen to nature as our fountain endlessly trickles in the background, and through the persistance and hard work of my wife, have been selling on line for 10 years at RonByrum.com . What more could I ask the universe for? I say to all of you, "Thank you for making my life as it exists today. Only through your support has it been made possible". I hope you enjoy your visit here and have a wonderful morning or evening, which ever you are enjoying at this moment, Ron
