A bio and message to my supporters

My wife calls me the "MAD ARTIST". I try to be a kind soul and lend an understanding ear to one whom might need a listener. Quiet unless provoked, creating, designing, wood working, faux finishing, playing piano and guitar, standing in a crystal clear mountain stream and drinking coffee on our back deck on mornings as our yard of gardens comes to life. Creating has been my escape from reality for about 35 years now. I hope I have brought happiness and joy to those my art has appeared before. To not to be motivated by money has its ups and downs on an economic level. One as myself does what they must to survive in an economic society; but only to be able to create and know that feeling of, "I have placed something in this world that otherwise would have never existed" motivates me. A small home of gardens and art. Little animals here and there with the ever present furry friends, some call dogs but ours are actually members of my family. It dosn't take much to make me happy. My wife, Sherry and I have enjoyed our little world and since we have met all of you out there, we get to play with our paints, listen to and make music, plant our flowers and gardens, listen to nature as our fountain endlessly trickles in the background, and through the persistance and hard work of my wife, have been selling on line for 10 years at RonByrum.com . What more could I ask the universe for? I say to all of you, "Thank you for making my life as it exists today. Only through your support has it been made possible". I hope you enjoy your visit here and have a wonderful morning or evening, which ever you are enjoying at this moment, Ron

An Open Mind

I BELIEVE IN THE SPIRITUAL AND UNIVERSAL OPEN MIND
It has been my experence that there are so many different ways of looking at everything that no one person or institution has the unique knowledge or experence to insist that their perception is the only way a spiritual realm exist. My veiws have been opened to many dimensions of spirituality. It takes courage to change the belief we have been force fed from a position of fear that we might be punished for eternity if we do not believe in a certain way or idea. A rebel against popular belief can seem to be a lonesome place but as the light pierces through the smallest crack of a darkened room, light and warmth begins to fill the air. So to face the unknown and the darkened rooms of popular belief, a vast world of wonder and creative awareness begins to flow not only in you ,but through you.The glory of an open mind is an amazing power which can indeed move mountains. To carry that tiny light into those darkened rooms of stone age beliefs and join another with a tiny light of hope, the room begins to brighten. I believe we will one at a time enter the darkened rooms and become many and with much light to rid the darkness of hatred and judgment. We are one as a whole and will change the universe one light at a time. Ron.

What Really Counts

And as they looked upon me with judgment in thier hearts of selfishness and their ego driven ambitions with no reguard to the feelings of anyone or anything, I felt the piercing daggers from within the windows of their souls attempt to penetrate my sense of well being. They said I was lost and my soul was sentanced to be damed for all eternity to a terrifying punishment by their maker. Their bewildered minds poisoned by tales of being the chosen ones blocks the light which is the truth. Located in the shadows they believe me to be living is the location of their residence.\par
And as I look back knowing my truth, the joy within settles my nerve and peace is all about my person and being. I know, " It is not the things I have said or posessions I have collected. It is not the giant personality which all who encounter love or my diplomatic way of solving conflict. Within myself lives a knowing that the smile I received from a kind word freely given counted. The listening ear for one who needed a listener counted. The courage given by saying, you can do it, counted. The hope given by saying, I have been there. These are the things that count and it is not the words you cast out to others but the simple acts of unselfish love that counts. Reach out and touch someone instead of preaching. I helped an old lady today. That counts, Ron.

Body,Mind and Spirit

Body Mind and Spirit
To help another whom might benefit. I believe if I am seeking to grow on a spiritual plain then my path may be laid out to lead me in the direction of my purpose. Sometimes the seemingly worst experiences I have endured in my past turned out to be the very things that when shared with another, helped both myself and others the most. I believe we are not humans having a spiritual experience, but spirits having a human experience. I repeat this in most of my writings because to me it is the single most important realization I have acknowledged in life as of today. I have no idea where the road will take me but I do know that communication and meditation on a level higher than our mortal existance prepares my spirit to better identify when the opportunity to be helpful presents itself. Wisdom to identify that opportunity is the key. The only thing I get to take with me is the love and unselfishly giving of myself to be helpful to another. When my mind is in balance with my spirit through meditation, then it is my belief that the body must react in a positive manner to the energy produced through the BODY, MIND and SPIRIT unity relationship which is always active within. Attitude is a direct effective energy which can translate to the body and spirit. Forgiveness, an attempt to understand, kindness and compassion are absolutes for the spirit to glow. Anger, frustration, arrogance and judgemental attitudes are some of the sicknesses which deaden the glow of the spirit.
Life and all of its ups and downs is a learning field and the direction of our lessons are absolutely dependant on the well being and relationship between the Mind, Spirit and Body. Meditate to achieve wholeness and the destination will unfold within your pathway. Ron
